About You:

You get enjoyment when customers say, “thank you for listening”. Even though you may not know the answer, your curiosity and ability to see things from a customer’s point of view gets you asking all the right questions. In the end, you truly understand the customer’s existing processes and can act as their trusted advisor when it comes to ensure they get the most out of our products. You know how to dive into the details while keeping an eye on the big picture, and you can create product feature specs that speak directly to a particular customer need.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Product Analyst analyzes the business process of new clients and new market features, and documents the solution requirements. You get to design and verify creative solutions, collaborate with customers, and engage in iterative feedback while following an agile methodology. Customer service is key – this role consistently demonstrates the values of the Company in all dealing with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a product evangelist to promote BasicGov product features and best practices to
internal stakeholders, clients and partners.
• Ensuring customer requirements are gathered and organized, process flows and use cases
are written completely and user feedback sessions and demos are run successfully.
• Collaborating with customers, engaging in iterative feedback following an agile.
methodology, and ultimately create satisfied customers, partners and product owners.
• Working together with partner and customer support to analyze and prioritize clients’ issues.
• Working collaboratively with the Technical Architect to plan roadmap features and epics
• Translate client needs into use cases and system requirements by designing and verifying
creative solutions.
• Prioritizing roadmap stories and refining acceptance criteria.
• Researching and advocating for best design practices.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

• 3+ years BA experience (with customer-facing projects)
• Under-graduate Degree or Technical Certification
• Exceptional technical project management skills, including planning, scheduling, executing,
and monitoring.
• Strong client relationship management and customer service skills – solution oriented.
• Ability to build a shared understanding of partners’ needs and motivations among members
of cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (technical writing & UML).
• Ability to be flexible and manage change within Agile Methodology.
• Exceptionally detail oriented and organized, ensuring quality and consistent output.
• Self-motivated and creative.
• Curious with excellent listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude and work independently with little guidance in a
fast paced, lean, changing environment.
• Ability to travel within in North America approximately once every few months.
• Salesforce Admin Certification and industry specific knowledge (government constituent-
facing processes) are assets.
