New BasicGov GIS Connector Released for State and Local Governments

April 20, 2011, Vancouver, BC - BasicGov Systems, Inc. has launched BasicGov GIS Connector software to provide local and state governments visually based tools to better manage land and citizen management functions such as land use, zoning, parcels, permits, inspections, plans, or code violations.

The BasicGov GIS Connector integrates into the ESRI GIS system (V9.2+) and organizes land use and community development information, such as parcels and permits, as layers on existing ESRI and Google Earth maps. With this additional visual map layer, government employees in multiple departments have graphical information to assist with complex land use analysis, solutions and decisions.
