The Province of Manitoba, Workplace Safety and Health Branch (WSH) has selected BasicGov to replace their current Labour Information System (LINK). The mission of the WSH is to ensure Manitoba’s workplaces are safe and healthy, focusing on refining legislative compliance to minimize workplace fatalities, injuries, and illnesses.

BasicGov is the only COTS/SaaS-based solution for government licensing, permitting, and inspection needs hosted on the Salesforce Force.com platform. BasicGov aims to help the Province achieve the following goals:
- Development of a comprehensive set of indicators to better monitor and track workplace injuries and illness, as well as practical tools and resources reflecting the needs of Manitoba employment and staff.
- Improving legislative compliance in order to eliminate workplace fatalities, injuries, an illnesses.
- Enable WHS to better monitor and track workplace injuries and illness in fulfilling principles outlined in Manitoba’s Five Year Plan for Workplace Injury and Illness.
